The ENERTEC thermal oil heaters of the AHRS and AHMR series are used to utilize waste heat in the form of hot gas or flue gas.
The AHRS series consists of several coiled pipes with a parallel flow of round bent pipe. At higher flue gas temperatures, the boiler jacket is cooled by the outer pipe coil, at lower flue gas temperatures the boiler jacket is not cooled.
The AHMR series consists of parallel flow meander pipes. The deflection bends are, depending on the application, either in insulated deflection boxes or in the flue gas flow.
For every desired application, the ideal design for the application is selected from a large pool of executed designs.
The heaters are operated with commercially available heat transfer oils or liquids based on mineral oil or with synthetic heat transfer media, depending on the operating temperature.
At operating temperatures of up to 340 ° C, the systems can be operated without pressure (only static and pump pressures are taken into account). At higher temperatures, depending on the heat transfer medium, system pressures of up to 12 bar are possible.
A saturated steam system has a system pressure of 86 bar at an operating temperature of 300 ° C. The thermal oil systems are operated at this temperature with a maximum operating pressure of 10 bar, which considerably simplifies the approval and operation of the systems.
By operating with mineral oil-based or synthetic thermal oils, the systems can be regarded as corrosion-free.
The standard approval procedure for the heater is the mathematical preliminary test and acceptance according to the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 97/23 / EG) by the TÜV, special acceptance (ASME, Lloyds Register of Shipping, Germanischer Lloyd, Bureau Veritas, American Bureau of Shipping etc.) possible by arrangement.
The heater is manufactured according to ENERTEC construction by approved producers in Germany.
The ENERTEC thermal oil heaters of the ETV series (vertical, "standing boiler") and ETH (horizontal, "lying boiler") are three-pass thermal oil heaters in which the inner and outer pipe coils are flowed through in parallel.

The ETV / H boiler series is operated with gas or light oil burners from Weishaupt, other manufacturers and / or fuels are also possible on customer request.

In addition to the standard boiler series, customer-specific adjustments of heater output, temperature spread and thermal oil volume flow are possible at any time.
